All Element Board - HDPE Facts
All Element Cabinetry's Are all made from our exclusive
All Element Board™. All Element Cabinetry is made of FDA,
USDA approved 100% Virgin (HDPE) High Density
Polyethylene, All Element Board is 100% post consumer
recyclable. All Element Cabinetry does have a recycling
program give us a call. All Element Board is Stress
Relieved and is more rigid and harder than lower density
materials. It also has higher tensile strength, four times
that of lower density polyethylene. It is three times
better in compressive strength and meets FDA requirements
for direct food contact applications. High-Density
PolyEthylene (HDPE) or PolyEthylene High-Density (PEHD)
HDPE is commonly recycled and has the number "2" as its
recycling symbol.
Life Cycle - Cost Effectiveness
Applications in Wet and Dry Environments High density polyethylene (HDPE) is used in a variety of applications and industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, low moisture absorption, chemical and corrosion-resistance properties are required.
Properties
HDPE has little branching, giving it stronger intermolecular forces and tensile strength than lower-density polyethylene. It is also harder and more opaque and can withstand somewhat higher temperatures (120 °C/ 248 °F for short periods, 110 °C /230 °F continuously). High-density polyethylene, unlike polypropylene, cannot withstand normally-required autoclaving conditions. The lack of branching is ensured by an appropriate choice of catalyst and reaction conditions. HDPE contains the chemical elements carbon and hydrogen.
VOC'S - Volatile Organic Compounds
Our All Element Board™ which is used in all of our cabinets
does not have VOC's. VOC's are a wide variety of potentially
harmful gases such as formaldehyde, 4PC and benzene, which
are out-gassed into the air by new carpets, floors,
cabinets, new construction and other interior finish
materials. They are also found in chemical coatings in solid
materials ranging from carpets to plywood and mdf (Medium
Density Fiberboard) products. They affect the respiratory
system and cause several allergies. They have also been
linked with some forms of cancers. It is this concern that
is initiating a change in the building materials industry.
Applications
HDPE is resistant to many different solvents and has a wide variety of applications including: Containers, Laundry detergent bottles, Milk jugs, Fuel tanks for vehicles, Folding tables, Folding chairs, Storage sheds, Cabinetry, Portable basketball system bases, Plastic bags, Outdoor Kitchen Cabinetry, Containment of certain chemicals, Ice skating rinks, Lockers, Chemical-resistant piping systems, Heat-resistant fireworks display mortars, Geothermal heat transfer piping systems, Natural gas distribution pipe systems, Water pipes for domestic water supply, Coax cable inner insulators (dielectric insulating spacer), Root barrier, Corrosion protection for steel pipelines, Tyvek, Snow board rails and boxes, Bottles, suitable for use as refillable bottles, Modern hula hoops, Ballistic plates and Fences. HDPE is also used for cell liners in sanitary landfills, wherein large sheets of HDPE are either extrusion or wedge welded to form a homogeneous chemical-resistant barrier, with the intention of preventing the pollution of soil and groundwater by the liquid constituents of solid waste.
Applications
All Element Cabinetry is frame-less cabinetry which allows for full easy access and 100% usable space. All cabinets are made of 3/4 " solid All Element Board through out. Plastic legs for easy leveling and installation. Custom, stock size cabinets and case work are available. All Element Cabinetry's commitment to excellence in materials, design and construction has lead us to win many awards for design excellence, durability and innovations. Adex award's convey the message that "All Element Cabinetry has it all".
Cleaning Recommendations
All Element Cabinetry require very little maintenance. Dr. Cabinet products are easily cleaned by wiping them down and can be sanitized by steam cleaning. Backyard Grill Islands and Outdoor Cabinetry can simply be rinsed off with a hose to clean. All Element Cabinetry is very chemically resistant and most common detergents and cleaners work well. Sanitizing can be done by steam cleaning or a chemical sanitizing product. You can use a nylon scrubby or stiff bristle nylon brush but care should be taken because excessive force can mar the finish. Bleach can be applied and allowed to soak to help lift persistent stains. Pressure washing is also an acceptable method of cleaning. To clean a petroleum problem such as grease or oil, use citrus cleaner, alcohol or mineral spirits.
Avoid prolonged contact with oil based products, as these do not clean well and may cause staining. Furniture polish or products such as Armor-All™ can add an attractive luster to the finish as well as hiding small mars on the products surface.
Recycle
All Element Board is • 100% recyclable • Made from 23% post-consumer recycled content How many times can HDPE be recycled? Plastic looses some of its original quality through recycling. This is caused by specks of dirt and the fact that the original molecular make-up can change. So it is not easy to make HDPE into the product it was. HDPE may be made into a range of products such as outdoor lumber, pipes, plastic film as well as a component to some new plastic bottles. How does the HDPE (#2) I put in my recycling bin or drop off get made into new products? Your old HDPE is taken from your curbside bins, or from your local recycling center drop off point and brought to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) ‐ a highly specialized factory designed to sort, separate and prepare recyclable materials for transport and sale. This is where the recycling process begins! At the MRF the HDPE is hand sorted from a conveyor belt and compacted into large bales. These bales are transported to a plastics recycling plant where they are cleaned, chopped and made into HDPE pellets or flake. These pellets or flakes are ready to be heated and shaped into new products.

Anti - Microbial
All Element Cabinetry Anti-Microbial Germ-B-Gone Technology..... All Element Cabinetry Antimicrobial protection Germ-B -Gone Technology keeps cabinets microbe free between cleanings and inhibits the growth of product damaging microorganisms, including any type of bacteria, fungi and algae on the All Element Boards surface. Germ-B -Gone Technology will not wash away on the All Element Board product, even with the constant use of cleaning solutions, making our cabinets last longer while remaining microbe free. All Element Board is far superior to any other material available, such as wood, steel, metal, fiberglass, formica, plastics or glass at keeping hygienic areas cleaner with less work. The product is safe, non-toxic and VOC free. It is EPA registered and listed by the FDA as a modifier to medical devices. Microbes that come in contact with All Element Board Germ-B -Gone products are destroyed instantly without creating opportunities for adaptive or resistant strains to form. All Element Board is non leaching with the Germ-B -Gone Technology, since it is integrated throughout the sheet.
